This lone chrysanthemum stands in power. With the halo surrounding this bloom I wanted to accentuate the strength that seems to be extruding from the stem with robust leaves and the globule of petals coiling inward. Drawn in a dark navy blue with a pale yellow glow emitting from beneath it was made to hold some drama.
